The Jeep® brand has come a long way since its inception as a World War II military transport vehicle. Of course, vehicles like the 2016 Jeep Wrangler are fully-fledged off-road beasts, but Jeep has greatly expanded its brand to include vehicles that are more appropriate for staying on the road right here in Bemidji. Lying somewhere in the middle of the spectrum is the new 2016 Jeep Cherokee, which is a small SUV appropriate for area families who like to embark on adventures to the Minnesota wilderness on the weekend.

Here at Bemidji Chrysler Center, we are thrilled to carry the 2016 Jeep Cherokee on our lot. The four-door, five-passenger compact SUV is highly configurable, coming in four trim levels — Sport, Latitude, Trailhawk, and Limited — each with a number of optional packages. The base Sport is the most budget-friendly of the bunch and still includes remote keyless entry, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, and a six-speaker audio system with a 5-inch touchscreen interface, an auxiliary audio input, and an SD card reader. Bemidji drivers will surely want to add the Cold Weather package, which adds a wiper de-icer, remote ignition, heated power-folding mirrors, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel.

Those looking for more features will want to upgrade to the higher trims of the 2016 Jeep Cherokee. For instance, off-road adventurers will likely want to upgrade to the Trailhawk trim, which is the most durable of all the trims. It comes with the advanced four-wheel-drive system (Active Drive II), slightly wider 17-inch wheels and all-terrain tires, increased ground clearance, off-road-oriented suspension tuning, a locking rear differential, hill ascent and descent control, skid plates, and tow hooks.

Head on over to Bemidji Chrysler Center to check out the 2016 Jeep Cherokee today!
