While Jeep SUVs like the Cherokee and Grand Cherokee are suited for off-road riding, the Wrangler’s identity is based in being able to tackle the toughest terrain. Jeep Wrangler vehicles have been an off-road force for a long time now, with “Four Wheeler” magazine naming the Rubicon trim the “4×4 of the Decade.” The 2016 version of this new Jeep comes in four different trim levels: Sport, Sport S, Sahara, and Rubicon. The base Sport is the most affordable of the trims, but it still contains plenty of great features, including a 3.6-liter V6 engine and the Command-Trac 4×4 system. This proven off-road system can help you conquer obstacles and tackle slick, winter conditions, thanks to its NV241 GII transfer case.
Moving on up to the Sahara trim of the 2016 Jeep Wrangler, drivers are treated to more interior luxuries. For instance, the Alpine Premium All-Weather Sound System includes four 6.5-inch speakers, two tweeters, and a subwoofer for deep bass beats. The highest trims also come standard with the 8.4-inch touchscreen bundled with the innovative Uconnect infotainment system, which gives you access to GPS navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, and voice-to-text capabilities. Adding to the off-road capabilities of the Wrangler are features like skid plates, tow hooks, and fog lamps.
