In terms of full-size pickup trucks, the 2015 RAM 1500 isn’t the biggest or most extravagant on the market. Instead, it has always prided itself in being a truck that provides drivers with all-around value, a high amount of torque and horsepower, and a comfortable, feature-filled interior. If you’re looking for a monstrous pickup, the RAM 2500 and the even bigger RAM 3500 are available, and now that the new 2015 RAM 1500 Rebel edition is here, Bemidji drivers looking for a bit of in-your-face style in their full-size pickup have an excellent option.
Unlike other trims of the 2015 RAM 1500, the new Rebel edition is available only as a RAM 1500 Crew Cab. Bemidji residents who catch a glimpse of the new RAM 1500 will first notice its updated exterior, which features a blacked-out Rebel grille, a completely black off-road bumper, a billet silver skid plate, new front tow hooks, and new LED fog lamps. The bold styling continues on the side of the truck, which has black Power Wagon wheel arch moldings, and flat-black badge, mirrors, and lower body panels. The Rebel edition also features brand new 17-inch aluminum wheels that incorporate matte black accent pockets and multi-angled surfaces. Further complementing this new attractive styling are the five available exterior colors: Granite Crystal Metallic, Bright Silver Metallic, Flame Red, Bright White, and Brilliant Black.
Under the hood, the Rebel editions carries on the truck’s tradition of power with its two available engines. Bemidji drivers can choose either a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 or an even more powerful 5.7-liter V8 HEMI. Both of these engines come standard with a smooth TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission.
